Submission rules
A few ground rules keep the quality high for everyone:
- Original work only. Your article must not be published anywhere else, and we do check.
- At least 800 words. Thin posts do not help readers, so give the topic proper depth.
- Write in plain, friendly English. Short paragraphs, clear headings, and no filler.
- No spam links. You may include one or two genuinely useful links to reputable sources. Affiliate links, keyword-stuffed anchor text, and promotional link drops will be removed.
- Facts must be right. Check names, dates, and puzzle rules before you send anything in.
- Images are welcome if you own the rights to them. Please do not send stock photos or screenshots you do not have permission to use.
How to pitch
Send your pitch through our Contact page. Tell us the headline you are proposing, a short outline of what the article will cover, and a link or two to writing samples if you have them. If the idea is a good fit, we will reply within a few working days with the next steps. We may suggest a different angle or headline. That is normal, and it usually makes the piece stronger.
